In Remembrance of Deliverance: Breaking the Chains of Pornography

Called and anointed by God Almighty, yet I lived a double life for months. The world of pornography (also known as porn) is dark, destructive and deadly. It's a dungeon of death to your soul. It's only one of Satan's avenues straight to hell and this is where I found myself for months. Although I was caught up in pornography, my inward desire was to serve God. However, I couldn't serve both God and man. Wanting to break away, and unable to do so in my own strength, I ended up staying in Satan's cobweb much longer than I intended to. Now, I write my testimony to encourage others and to let you know, God can and will deliver you from Satan's snares. There are so many others suffering through this darkness, but shame and pride has caused them to keep their silence. They are many who love the Lord but can't pull away from the dark world of pornography or other deadly sins. If this is you, you don't have to stay in the place you are in. I became entangled with this spirit and allowed it to take control of my life for months. Sex was to me, like drugs to a drug addict, alcohol to an alcoholic. It was something that I needed (or felt I needed) to make it through the day. Being trapped and tangled up in the cobwebs of pornography, I needed help. Wedged in the position of pride and shame, I indulged in pornography to entertain my sexual demons, which were much stronger than I could ever imagine. BUT GOD - He saw that I was worth keeping. Through all the ugliness that was inside of me, God saw a little ray of hope. He took that little ray of hope and developed it into something greater. There was a desire to serve God on the inside and that's what He cleaned up and instructed me to tell of my testimony. It took prayer from God's anointed warriors, and overall - the power of God to set me free. These spirits are strong, and very deadly to your soul. I beseech you to realize the destruction this sin, as with all sin, can cause you. Repent and be delivered.
