This is a biographical play about Harriet Tubman, an American hero. She escaped from slavery and then helped rescue hundreds of other slaves, guiding them to the Underground Railroad to freedom and sometimes all the way to Canada. She was also a scout, a nurse, and a fighter in the Union Army and after the Civil War she worked for equality of all people of any race or gender.
