Deva Tales

A restive province, a troublesome official, a city on the brink of disaster. 89 AD. In eleven linked tales, each from the point of view of one of Deva's inhabitants, the story unfolds. Follow the gladiator, the centurion, the merchant and others as they try to prevent a plot that threatens to undermine the peace of the province.
