Sparrow Song

Set in a small 1890's Arizona Territory town, this novelette gives a good flavor of the struggles, triumphs and disappointments experienced by all. It shows the daily life of the town folks, their hospitality and sometimes hostility for each other with no one beyond the reach of public scrutiny. Not sure he will measure up to expectations and crippled by an accident early in life, young Darius is faced with a challenge certain to change his future. He is not confident what the outcome will be. Will he find strength to persevere?
