Waking Up Dead : And Other Short Stories

Join Henry, as he wakes up from a nap, responding to someone calling, "Henry, it's time." It's none other than St. Peter himself. Then Millie, his wife, who had died three years previous, joins them. This is when the adventure begins as St. Peter takes them on a tour of Heaven to unexpected, and unknown destinations, unique to Heaven. Jesus said - "In my father's house there are many mansions," to the men he was crucified with. As Henry and Millie tour Heaven, experience with them a number of surprises on their 'Heavenly Tour' they learn answers to some questions people have asked for years- often unexpected answers. This book contains more than a story about a Heavenly tour of two people. There are eighteen additional stories, fourteen of which are true. They're divided into two groups. The first group, 'Unexplainable Stories, ' are true events that I have personally experienced. Although unexplainable, I surmise that many of us have also experienced something similar, without recognizing its significance. The next four, 'Surprising Stories, ' are simply fun stories containing a reader's surprise. The last nine, 'Stories Finally Shared, ' are also true stories. Renee, my daughter shared most of them with me after her brother John died in 2013, as a result of cancer. Except for the first two, I was totally unaware of the experiences she spoke of. That's why I've written and include them in this section. I find them to be a humorous look at life, through the eyes of a child, that any adult would enjoy reading.
