Cast in Sand

Trapped inside of a broken robot, in a dome covered forest on the outer ring of space-colony Atlas, Edwina doesn't know who, or where she is. She has only vague memories of a failed expedition, ancient technology, and a desperate plan to rescue herself by leaving her human body behind. But each new body has a mind of its own, and Edwina must struggle to take control. When she is discovered and carried off to the desert region, Edwina finds that the dome's inhabitants have far too many their own troubles to help with hers. An ancient citadel from before the collapse, looms over this barren land and a cruel sultan rules the scattered people. Edwina finds a new body, one real enough to feel human, and strong enough to challenge the sultan. But the new body, comes with human weaknesses, and like the others, it has a mind of its own.
