An uncle dies and leaves thirty-one-year-old bohemian feminist Kezia a lovely Craftsman house...in Kansas, where she must survive surrounded by conservatives, some of whom are relatives. These include Aunt Edith, who seemed kind and loving throughout Kezia's childhood but now constantly criticizes and talks down to Kezia. What happened?
