Mary, Tears, And Oil : None

In the gospel of Luke, we read about a sinful woman who, upon learning that Jesus was eating at a Pharisee's house, went to see him. She wept, wiped the tears that fell on him with her hair, and then poured an enormously expensive jar of perfume on Jesus's feet. The Pharisee despised her sin; Jesus's disciples chastised her wastefulness. But Jesus praised her beautiful gift. In pouring out her worship, she became the picture of the forgiven church-spotless and without blemish. Mary, Tears, and Oil is a story overflowing with the power of sacrificial love.
