A person can't even lay his head down on his own planet, complains a homeless man, as Sgt. Katie Kelly and her partner Isaac Flores investigate the murder of yet another denizen of Fresno's world renowned street population. Kelly, whose detective skills and sense of humor endeared her to many in A Stitch in Crime, explores every possibility, but the victims continue to fall. Every approach seems to lead to a dead end.
