Both President Kennedy and President Reagan worked for the end of nuclear bombs and held the peace talks with the Russian Leader, Gobachev in the 1980s. After the war, Japan was transferred over to the American Government who appointed General McArthur to govern Japan immediately after the war. He was a good governor who had loyalties to the Emperor and created a Japanese Government for him under American rule. The end explains the financial problems all over the world and the depression and recession of the economy. It has brought back talk of nuclear war in a depressed global economy.
