Poetic Memoirs

Pearl E. Hanley has spent her entire life in the Caribbean. Th ese poems reflect significant events in her life as well as world events from her per-spective. Included are original poems about her birth island of Nevis, her current home St. Thomas Virgin Islands, her family, and events on the U.S. mainland from its founding to the present. If you can identify with any of them I trust you will ? nd it beneficial and be blessed.These poems encompass ideas and experiences of my life's journey through the years living in the Caribbean. I got the inspiration when a friend visited me in the hospital while recuperating from knee surgery and therapy. She said a line, I said a line in response and soon found that we were rhyming. Thus my first poem was born. "The Walk of Fame."
