Ice Blue Eyes: An Alaska Story of Greed, Love and Revenge

Tragedy meets two Seattle bankers kayaking in Southcentral Alaska's Prince William Sound. Once was killed by falling ice from a calving glacier while the other video recorded the event. The dead banker had been responsible for managing the State of Alaska account at SeaFirst Bank in Seattle. Aliana Pedersen, Asistant Director of Finance for the State of Alaska is tasked with finding a replacement. Shortly after a replacement is assigned, a bank clerk finds irregularities in the account. Alaska State Trooper Reuben Hayes had known all of these people before the banker was killed in the accident. His investigation leads to an affair with the Deputy Director of Finance and embroils him in a case of bank fraud. Reminiscent of Alaska's "Last Bridge to Nowhere" politics, the suspects include a bank president, the manager of the Alaska SeaFirst account and even Alaska's Governor. A local drug dealer, a Mexican Cartel Leader and the FBI round out the characters entangled in this case making it a who-done-it to the last page.
