When I was talking to the coast guard, I said we were SW of Ft. Jefferson, 42 nautical miles about 100 miles from Key-West and taking on water. We needed pumps badly. His exact words were; "We have no assets in that area." Key West had been evacuated. I looked at Carl and said, "It looks like we're on our own." I was checking with the coast guard every half hour.
