The Day Santa Met Jesus is the true personal story of the author's coming to salvation in Jesus Christ during a tent revival as a nine-year-old boy. His childhood was always adventurous, daily exploring his neighborhood with his friends while riding bicycles and running around looking for something to do or "get into" along the way. The factual events in this story come from one of his adventures during the summer of his conversion-an ongoing adventure of his life-long commitment to Jesus and His work through him, including taking on the role of "Santa Claus" every year to show God's love to thousands of children. As Santa he sits in the "gift givers" seat, listening to their requests and hopes for another year of adventure themselves. Being known as "Santa Claus" by many people has become somewhat of a trademark for Allen Tyndall and has opened a door that allows him to hear the hopes and dreams of kids and adults alike. Throughout his life he has been privileged to be a husband, father, grandfather, teacher, coach, principal, pastor and mentor. In addition he has the joy of being "Santa Claus" - a unique annual holiday opportunity that has transformed his life and ministry as he seeks to share God's love to all who would receive it. He and his wife, Doris, have been married for more than 50 years, have four children and ten grandchildren, and currently reside in Little River, South Carolina.
