Howard Henry is a retired clinical social worker, addictions counselor, adjunct faculty member (University at Buffalo; SUNY Buffalo State) and union leader. He was a 20 year volunteer in the field of International Education and is a 30+ year volunteer in southern border ministry, a church choir member, an opera supernumerary (one paid chorus gig), and a lifelong fan of 50's baseball and 40's music. He is a member of the Society for American Baseball Research and has published articles on Buffalo baseball. His father took him to the home opening game of the 1956 season when he was 14 years old. He saw Luke Easter hit his first home run as a Bison. Decades later he became a friend of Lou Ortiz, the stellar second baseman for the 1956 Bisons. Thus, a book.
