Eternal Present is a series of hieroglyphic free verse poetry that progresses through a trilogy of abstract human-emotion-driven hero's journeys of dream-like lucidity using modern minimal symbolic imagery reminiscent of and inspired by Swiss psychiatrist Hermann Rorschach's original inkblot tests. The goal was to capture the time period of an app-centric generation where psychology and technology conjoin. The experiences depicted in this book are derived from a personal dream journal in recounts of mystical intrigue and deep immersive emotion felt during dream state and/or during psychedelic ceremonial exploration and the death of the ego experienced with DMT including ayahuasca, 5-MeO-DMT, psilocybin, LSD, and most importantly sober lucid dreaming. All of which should be explored in moderation and respect with a team you trust in a ceremonial setting. Recreational use can be very damaging and not recommended. Proceed with caution and wisdom. Out of all my experiences, nothing was more powerful than true sober dreaming as the human brain produces DMT naturally during REM sleep. Robert Moss says in his book "Dream Gates," whether you are asleep or awake, your experience is still valid. The point is, if you can access lucid dreams, you can learn from those experiences, regardless if you deem the experience "reality." Dream Gates changed my life. I have deep respect for the plant medicine experiences I have been so grateful to be a part of, including ayahuasca, psilocybin, and 5-MeO-DMT. I believe these plant spirits were able to show me self-love in a way I could never understand without their influence. The plants teach that self-love is a daily choice for each of us and for that, I am beyond grateful.
