Sheni' Suntory has emerged as a professional military non commissioned officer in the United States Air Force with over 20 years of service, and the first woman in her family to have a successful long term military career. She is a community leader, entrepreneur, and a college graduate with a B.A. in Theology, while raising a son as a widow. She also has earned a Virginia State license in Cosmetology. She is establishing herself as an advocate for women in life transitions by leading a monthly women's group, Sister's Holistic Evolution (SHE) in Virginia. In her memoirs, is the work of deep reflection and storytelling of the struggles she endured as a youth and young adult, resulting as a statistic of a fatherless girl. She invites readers into her world, chronicling events that have created her strength and perseverance from her dark childhood, through the confusions of adolescence, and the risky street life of young adulthood in West Philadelphia.
