It has taken more than three years to collect information about Lenawee Christian School. Many people have been interviewed, documents reviewed, and pictures collected from 35 past yearbooks to capture its history and impact. This information has been collected so that the reader will understand how God used individuals to open a non-denominational Christian school in Adrian and how His hand has guided it through the years.Events that have taken place throughout the school's 40-plus-year history of serving families from Lenawee County are recorded in chronological order. A number of people who were interviewed shared many rich stories that openly reveal the positive influence the school has had on them. Some of those stories are humorous, while others reflect the way God has worked in their lives.The many outstanding students who have achieved excellence over the years are highlighted in a special photo spread that features academics, arts, athletics, spirit week, homecoming, and worship. A special section entitled "faces" is also included.The concluding section honors the Merillat family, whose vision and unwavering support of Lenawee Christian School have blessed hundreds of other families. Their labor of love to God continues under the capable leadership of Mr. Tom Durbin and with each graduating class that leaves the school to make a difference in the world.
