Growing up in Chicago requires an extra layer of skin if you plan to make it out alive. It is known across the nation of the amount of bloodshed in the city. All projects may be similar, but they are not the same. Chi town has its own code. No matter what part of the city you were in, you lived by the code. Shaequina Thomas was born and raised in the projects and made it her mission to remain in the city once she graduated college.She wasn't alone in her thinking. Herself and a few other successful friends landed jobs in the community allowing them to be an influence in different ways. It wasn't until Shaequina realized there was an unspoken evil that was secretly taking our children. Greed, sex, violence and lies was a toxic combination. Somehow it was able to find its way into our streets snatching our children from under our noses. Enough was enough. Shaequina set out to find the source of the missing childing in her community.Once you turn over one stone it leads to another. Shaequina must tread lightly as she takes on the task of bringing down one of the largest sex trafficking operation.
