Learning to Walk (Walk Like Jesus Walked)

By this we may be sure that we are in Christ: whoever says, 'I abide in him', ought to walk just as he walked. (1 John 2:5-6) God's Word translation says: Those who say that they live in him must live the same way he lived. Yes, it's possible to be certain that you are in Christ? Do you ever have doubts that you're saved? How are things between you and God? Talk is cheap. It's far too easy to pray to receive Christ and go to church with abiding in Christ or living in him. Unfortunately, the faith of many people is just talk. Like James 2:20 says: "faith without works is dead." You can say you're a Christian and everything is fine with God. But how is your daily walk? The Bible says that the test of a living faith is to walk like Jesus walked. Wow! Is that possible? Yes! Or it wouldn't be in the Bible. It's God's will for you, and he will help you do it. This book is the first of four volumes, and covers the basics of Christian discipleship. There are many books out there for new believers, but unlike most of them, this is based purely on the teachings and example of Christ. The idea is to experiment what it was like to walk with Jesus when he was on this earth. The world is spiritually hungry, and tired of our hypocrisy and lack of love and power. There's great need for healing and deliverance but few real miracles. And the solution is so obvious and so simple! It's Jesus! What do you think? Jesus is inviting you to walk like he walked.
