Far From The Tree is a poetry collection created when Phyllis challenged Morgan to a poetry writing duel. The subjects are the same, but their styles are different. Phyllis is all about the metered verse, Morgan is free style. Phyllis is sarcastic and witty, Morgan is real and funny. They couldn't be more alike and more different if they tried.They have collaborated since Morgan was four and they shared office space. Phyllis gave Morgan her first job as Director In Charge of Shredding. At age nine her mom made her a cashier in the family restaurant. By age ten she was Chief Kid Officer.
