Blessed Assurance: STUDY GUIDE

Is my salvation based on anything that I do or is it entirely up to God? Can we know that we are saved? It is tempting to think that our assurance of salvation is something we can gain or have simply because of how we live or what we accomplish. As if the matter was not confounded enough, another question inserts itself. Is it possible to have a false assurance of salvation? it just may be that we are incapable of fully grasping a concept such as this - a concept that links the sovereignty of God with the free will of man.
