Lyrical Ireland : Selected Poems

This is a little collection of poems that have been wandering around in my head for a few years. It was time to set them free. They touch on a fairly wide range of people, places, and a variety of emotions. When you have read them you will know that I am addicted to beauty and simplicity and that I am a loyal and true romantic Irishman. I chose the title 'Lyrical Ireland' for two reasons; to show my love for all things Irish and my passion for simple, lyrical rhyme. To me, poetry is all about the words, the voice and the message, all crafted in simplicity and adorned in rhyme. I hope you enjoy this little gift from 'The Emerald Isle.'
