Little Mary

Little Mary lived with her mother and father at the edge of a small wood. She was small for her age, had high cheek bones and always had beautiful smiles for everyone. Like all children she had good and bad qualities. Not far away was a busy town where a lot of poor people such as Mary's family tried to scrape a living. Disease always surrounded poverty and this family would suffer losses that were irreplaceable and unreconcilable.
