Usually viewed as a very intelligent dog, the Border Collie is one of the most active dogs. He is an adorable companion dog, and he will only be happy if he can have lots of exercise. His shepherd instinct appears at the age of 3 to 12 months. At that moment, he will show a specific interest in movement and will adopt a predator attitude. He can spend hours at the garden's fence, at the balcony's railing, or he will stare at the movement of the cars!
