The Feral Cartoonist

It is a known fact that if a cartoonist were to be left out in the wild they would turn feral within minutes. Documentaries have been made, articles have been written, it is an actual phenomenon. What happens to a cartoonist when turned wild is as varied as the cartoonists themselves. Most eat their cartoons. It might be a survival thing. It might be a guilt thing. Scientists are in the fields, behind the abandoned buildings and in the gutters to try and track down and study these timid creatures in their new habitats. Do they ever return to the drawing table? To a normal life? Maybe. In the pages that follow are some example of a cartoonist who has flirted on the fringe and may have dabbled in the feral wilds of cartooning.
