The Brennan family was an average working class family in the 1920s, trying to make ends meet for a family of six. As happened with many such families, the Brennan's had to farm out their children when William Brennan lost his job. Catherine Brennan, the youngest daughter, gets caught in the crossfire, which will change her life forever; her life will become one of heartbreak, fear, and death. Her true peace comes when she moves from the fences of her mind on to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
