A marginally successful rock band with deeply painful secrets, Red Cuyahoga, played its final concert in 1975 before the boos and jeers of a half-filled auditorium.The boys exit the stage to join the legions of bands and one-hit wonders which fade into obscurity, never to be seen or heard from again. Twenty three years later, the internet is the crown prince of commerce, fueling the dotcom boom. Two friends, Albert and Jonathan, deeply involved in the music industry, determine to unearth long-forgotten rock bands and bring their music and their lives into the internet age, but they need help. They approach Sandra, the owner of a web design business, to partner with them. While Jonathan and Sandra are unexpectedly confronted with mysteries of the heart, another mystery unfolds. Unable to find a single band member from that defunct rock group, the team begins a methodical search to unravel the mystery of what became of the band known as Red Cuyahoga. They find an amazing story of extortion, betrayal, murder, abandonment, aliases and redemption -- while writing a new story of renewed stirrings of romantic love.
