Here's Another Story is an edited collection of stories told by Harper and Ruby Wooddell of Bridgeport, West Virginia about their lives growing up on Buffalo Ridge, Allegheny Mountain, in Pocahontas County, West Virginia. Harper also tells stories about working on the B&O Railroad as a policeman and detective, and tells some good deer hunting stories. Harper and his brothers, Jesse, Lee, Walker, Clark, and Quinter were known as powerful deer hunters in their time. A last story is from Harper's grandson, Richard L. Wooddell, about his first deer hunt under the watchful guidance of Clark Wooddell. This book is illustrated with family photos of the historic Wooddell farm on Buffalo Ridge, Allegheny Mountain; photos of Charles and Virginia Wooddell and their children; as well as of the Joe Phillips family, and Frances and John Spencer. David W. Wooddell's more recent photographs of the Wooddell farm helps establish the geography and views of this scenic mountaintop farm.
