Blue Gum

When little Steffi asks for blue gum, Papa knows she is too small to chew gum and tries to discourage her from asking again. I wrote this story as a poem in my college Creative Writing class over 20 years ago, inspired by my two year old daughter. I recently had my sister-in-law draw illustrations in order to create a picture book to give to my daughter for her college graduation.
