John Gavin, a non-practicing middle-aged attorney but aspiring musician, became a "Prepper" per the encouragement of his younger brother, Bob, a scientist, and his nephew, Mike, a former military DELTA Force operator. Following a High-Altitude Electro Magnetic Pulse (HEMP) attack and an invasion of the United States by a coalition of soldiers from China, North Korea, Iran and Russia in the spring of 2030, John escaped from his Boulder, Colorado residence to join his brother and nephew at their Prepper Colony located in the Teton Mountains of Wyoming. Along the difficult and eventful journey to his destination, he met and gained two mother and daughter traveling companions, Sarah and Amanda Haley, who later became romantically involved with two of the Gavin's. Upon joining his brother, his nephew and their multi-disciplined colleagues at their secret genetic research facility located within The Colony, John became vigorously involved in the mission of disseminating peace throughout the world using his brother's scientific theories, instead of war, a project referred to by his brother as The Genetic Revolution. Due to the initial invasion and occupation success of the enemy coalition, John, Bob and their group of followers experienced many trials and tribulations before their final realization of mission success. Finally achieving total peace throughout the world via The Genetic Revolution, the Group was confronted by unexpected but favorable circumstances that would eventually change the path of planet evolution and the lives of all mankind.
