A Kidnapping in Laguna Woods: A Charlie O'Brien PI mystery novel

The first one was entitled; "A mystery in Laguna Woods," and the second mystery with some history was; "A theft in Laguna Woods" and herewith is; "A kidnapping in Laguna Woods." Laguna Woods Village (LWV), is one of the safest, most lovely, and prestigious retirement communities in the OC (Orange County), California and quite possibly the whole United States. A executive named William 'Bill' Hughes, from VMS (Village Management Services) which runs and operates the 'Woods' has been kidnapped and is being held for a Four Million dollars ransom. The kidnappers from Tecate, Mexico stated that unless the ransom is paid, and paid immediately, Bill will be sent back to VMS and GRF in little pieces. And, also Mrs. Marrianne Campbell-Smith who just so happens to be the daughter-in-law of the quite famous, world renown and extremely generous, Joan IRVINE Smith, was kidnapped as well.
