This full-length play touches on aspects of the life of Colin Kaepernick who caused quite an uproar when he kneeled during the playing of the national anthem before his football games for San Francisco Forty-Niners. Eventually it led to his ouster from the NFL with an unofficial blackballing by the owners of the teams. He is one of the best quarterbacks in the world and he can't get a job. The play also features his girlfriend Nessa Diab who was certainly influential in his radicalization, but the main thing is Colin's motivation and goals of his protest. Peaceful protest seems to have been a right of any American, but even though it is his right, he has been terribly condemned and hated by the American white establishment. He has been a lightning rod of racial fighting. Loved by many and hated by many. The play concludes with an optional finale of opinions and for audience participation.
