Blaze

Blaze is a fourteen-year-old boy from Orange County, California. He likes to dribble and bounce the ball and is in love with Thea. Actually, he is in love with basketball and Thea dribbles his heart and bounces his mind. On the flip side, Blaze and his friend's sister Jessie both 'bleed' basketball and have a spark of athletic attraction. During the summer before high school, Blaze sets off on a 2,000-mile-long journey from Chicago to LA with his father, to find Thea in Colorado, and to find a dad in his father. They played ball along the way and lived some colorful scenes. It is a story of love and basketball and the journey through the heartlands of America and the heartland of one family.
