The Queen And Her Daughter

It's been a century since World War Three, and times have certainly changed, especially for Mulberry. She's Queen of the East Queendom, one of three remaining reigns in the whole world. For as long as the longest hair on her head can extend, Mulberry's never had to battle anything or anyone. She's never lost. She's Queen, for crying out loud, so why would she know loss when everything's already won for her? Well, that is until she meets Fescue. For the first time now, someone's challenged her. Someone has the power to pain her just as much as please. Someone who wants nothing to do with her. Fescue could be her greatest win, or first and last loss. He could be the one. In a social hierarchy pinned against males, dominance, and control instead of equality, and forced love depending on gender, Mulberry will need to rethink the country's values, even her own. Yucca, on the other hand, is Queen at being a loser at school. What Mulberry is, Yucca isn't, and what she accepts, Yucca questions, like the Queen needing a man by her side to rule. But to Yucca, who's had to fight for everything she wants, only has one thing on her mind: a boyfriend. Despite their oppositeness, what neither of them knows is how their lives are connected. A vegetarian cheetah on a foreign planet where sword battles transpire. Aliens with orange blood and some with purple and pink pigments. Death so others can be born. Hearts will do somersaults and tricks in the air just as much as they'll fall and scrape their knees. Personalities will strip away for new faces since making someone bleed calls for forgiveness and the lack of warps into hate. What will Mulberry decide when she has to choose between the two? Those, such as Yucca and Fescue, will shape Mulberry into who she's supposed to be, versus what life has made of her.
