Overcomer: Overcoming Life Issues

The enemy has been after me since I was in my mom's womb. I have been abused and neglected as a child. I felt wounded, deprived, and wronged by those I loved and trusted. I was shifted from family to family as well as sexually abused by my uncle at the age of 7. All I ever wanted was to be loved and accepted, but instead, I felt useless. I lost my mom at the age of 16. Months later I found out I was expecting a child. I became a teen mom at the age of 16. I went searching for love in the wrong places. I entered into unhealthy relationships trying to fill that void I was lacking. I faced loss, disappointment, betrayal, addiction, self-doubt, depression, and anxiety. I was homeless and battled with suicidal thoughts and fear. I became numb to pain because I was trying to create my own life instead of waiting on God. I didn't feel smart or qualified to do God's will. I had the heart to help people. I knew I had a calling on my life, but I had chosen to run away from it. I thought to live for God was boring and that I wouldn't be accepted. I was told, as a little girl, I wouldn't amount to anything. I became a mother of five children and knew I had to change my life around. I got tired of playing church and received Jesus as my savior by faith. I started believing God's promises. I allowed Him to heal my wounded soul. I found my identity and overcame what was keeping me from moving past my pain. Perhaps you're like me looking for a way out of your darkness and into the light. This is the right book for you to be set free. As I share my story, I want to gift you with the truth. I was ashamed of my past. The title of the book explains it all.
