The book you now hold in your hand came from a time when I was once a children's director myself at a local church. I was concerned that we were only telling stories to our children much like what we do when we read them a fairy tale story. This concerned me. Why? The Bible is not just a good story. Yes, there are some amazing stories in the Bible but if we only read the stories but fail to stress the importance of the Bible as a life manual, well, when our children grow up they will believe the Bible is not relative to them as adults. We need to DISCIPLE our children!
