This manuscript came to us through a third-party, so we have not met or spoken to the author. We are inclined to believe that if it is not a thinly-disguised memoir, it is highly autobiographical, as many first novels are. We would compare it to "Fifty Shades of Gray" if we were sure it was a novel. We will let the reader judge. It is a difficult book to pigeonhole-and to read. We have published it as we have received it, with very little editing. It details the protagonist's sexual awakening as a submissive. It does not contain teenage intercourse, like the acclaimed novel "Tampa," and many others, as she is a virgin when she starts college. But she has the misfortune to be placed with a foster father at 14 who is into bondage and discipline. Later in college, she falls under the spell of two sexually dominant men sequentially. The book details only six years of her life, and the increasing trauma that her situation leads to. She goes into graphic detail about her sexual abasement in college, in which she was a willing participant. The book is dedicated to the mental health professionals who came to her rescue.
