In addition to the many constraints thrust upon me because of race, culture, and poverty, I was forced to marry my rapist. I have lived a life that many might think unbearable, but when you turn your life over to God and recognize Him as your true Father, He releases your pain. You must release negative things from your past. When you silence things in your soul, you can't move forward. It's like an anchor holding you down.
