In Dharma's Footsteps: A pilgrim's journey

In the post apocalypse world recently widowed Noora has devoted her life to the Kumargi, the spiritual path born from the ashes. Every ten years Kumargi devotees go on a pilgrimage retracing the route their religious founder took more than a thousand years ago from Nepal to the Atlantic Ocean. Because of her recent loss, Noora is reluctant to make the commitment. She is warned the treacherous trip will take her through lands poisoned by radiation and hardships will claim most. Yet, she promised her family she will honor them by undertaking this risky pilgrimage. She originally assumes this journey will reinforce her faith and give peace from her grief. However she quickly discovers the pilgrimage takes her on an inner quest towards a destiny where she must face her past, confront a horrible secret and discover why she is humanity's only hope for spiritual enlightenment.
