This is a commentary on the Epistle of Jude, written by one with the same name. Jude started his writing by revealing the passion he has for the need to 'contend for the faith'. He begins his epistle with 'Beloved, when I gave all diligence.' This was not a frivolous letter. Jude had an incredible burden that needed to be fervently shared with his readers. As in this age, there were evil men who were trying to subvert the glorious plan of salvation wrought by Jesus Christ' sacrifice on Golgotha, shedding his blood to redeem us, not willing that any should perish but that all would be saved. He warns his readers of the need to remember. He warns of the wrath of God that will come against the unrighteous, murmurers and blasphemers. He exhorted that we would ever be ready to pull out of the fire, the sinner who had strayed and be wise in dealing with others having compassion.
