Ordinary : An Ordinary Man'S Experiences With God

This is a book of stories, my stories. Stories about me, an ordinary man. They are true stories, at least to the best of my recollection. For God lovers, dog lovers, and such. I hope you enjoy them. I know that I would like to have known my dad a little better. I barely knew my grandfathers. Don't have a clue what or how my great grandfathers thought. Did they have adventures or stories about their experiences with God?These stories are my testimony. It is my most sincere hope that they bring glory to God. God, the greatest author, has placed a story in each of us. He sees the finished product. As an ordinary man, I am, of course, a work in progress. I once heard a preacher say, "You see the glory, but you don't know the story." He means you see the good part, not the struggles or the dark nights of weeping and tears. We all have them. I have had my dark nights of the soul. Trust me, I have had my share. These stories are more about answered prayer and experiencing God's deliverance and victory. To me, life is an adventure, at least from my perspective. Maybe that's why I seem to have more adventures than the average Joe. Maybe I see life through the eyes of an adventurer. I love to take risks. In my own mind, I think of myself as cautiously aggressive. As I have gotten older and hopefully more mature, I like to think the risks have become more calculated. I hope you gain much from these stories, from an ordinary man.
