Bible Doctrine: The Unbiased Truth

There is one true God, Who gave us one true set of doctrines. So how are there thousands of denominations in Christianity, all teaching different doctrines? How can you be certain what you have been taught is the truth? Yet there is an even more important question you should ask yourself.What is more important? Following the doctrines you have been taught, or following the doctrines according to the true Word of God?The fact is, a pastor will only give you a couple interpretations of verses to back up what he is teaching. Those verses are interpreted to fit the particular set of beliefs. Pastors have to teach the doctrines of their denomination.I had been trapped in sin for around thirty years when God pulled me back to Him. When I wanted to return to church, God shut doors on me. He had other plans for me. As I was reading the Bible, I quickly learned that basic doctrines I had been taught when I was young, were completely wrong! I knew then what God wanted from me. To study His Word for myself and find the truth. Not the truth according to some church, but the full truth of God's Word!I set some very strict rules that I had to follow in my studies and I stuck to them. It is because of these rules that I found the absolute Truth of God's Word and there are zero contradictions. And most Christians have a hard time accepting them. Not because they can give a good argument against the doctrines in this book, but simply because they would then need to accept they have been taught wrong.That is why I ask that question. What is more important to you? Following the doctrines you have been taught, or following the doctrines according to the true Word of God?
