Seasons Of The Heart Garden Of The Soul: A Poetic Journal

Seasons of the Heart, Garden of the Soul is a year-long collection of poetry mirroring the passage of seasons as experienced in my day-to-day comings and goings. Memories, reminiscences, ponderings, reflections were the inspiration for my poetic meditation of the day. The passing of time, my presence in the world, and my relationship with Nature's seasonal adornings were the themes of these poetic musings. The notion of using poetry as a journaling mode of expression became a self-motivating endeavor. Like stream-of-consciousness recordings, what I was feeling in the moment as I embraced the offerings of the seasons became the poetic pursuits of my inner voice clamoring to be heard. Personal beliefs, values, and ways of being were challenged by Nature's omniscient, seasonal wisdom. Poetry writing as creative process is my journey of discovery, transformation and illumination.
