Overview
Pip, the Adventurous Mouse was written by Carrie Blair to remember her brother, Pip, a teasing presence in her life. Pip the mouse was very inquisitive and wanted to learn and know about everything around him. His parents encourage him to be educated and to experience new things. Moving to the city from the country would change Pip from a country mouse to a city mouse, allowing him to have the best of both worlds. Plus, he would get a fine education and would learn a lot by living in such a busy place. This opportunity would give Pip a chance to learn how different two places can be.
