THE INDEPENDENT CITIZEN: TRUE REVOLUTION HAPPENS WITHIN THE CITIZEN, NOT AROUND THE CITIZEN.

Many thinkers and philosophers such as Machiavelli in the 'Prince' and Sun Tzu in the 'Art of war' wrote books teaching, advising and guiding leaders and governments on matters regarding leadership and power. It is my intention thus far, to take a different stand and dedicate this book 'The Independent Citizen' to the self-determination of citizens, civilians and front soldiers. Most writers when discussing matters of leadership and power are only referring to leaders against followers, or to generals against the front soldier, or to employers against the employee. This book is specifically dedicated to the very people Machiavelli and Sun Tzu looked down at. It advocates for the self determination of citizens in the republic. It inspires them to rise up and do for themselves that which they wish governments and politicians should do for them. It is a call to arms for all citizens who have in one way or another become victims of greedy, reckless governments and self-centered politicians who fall in love with citizens during elections only to dump them after elections. It seeks to ignite a revolution which will begin in the mind of a citizen and out into their livelihoods. The author of this book believes that for citizens to take back control over their lives, they must first take back control over their minds. Therefore, Chapter 1 is dedicated to Citizen Mental Freedom. Financially broke citizens are helpless in the face of their governments and politicians and as a result vulnerable to all sorts of exploitation. Thus, Chapter 2 is dedicated to Citizen Financial Freedom. Chapter 3 is dedicated to Citizen Self-Reliance: It should stick in the citizens mindset that governments and politicians do not exist to baby sit them hence they must become proactive and attempt to do for themselves that which they expect to be done. Chapter 4 is about The Opposition Problem: The opposition problem is the tendency of politicians and political parties in the Opposition to make citizens believe that all the problems they face in the nation are caused by the failure of their government and leaders in power. Yet, this is not always true because of existence of other underlying factors. Such as; citizens' personal flaws. Chapter 5 is dedicated to Tools for Citizen Liberation: they include; -liberating religion, -liberating education, -liberating relationships and liberating fighting strategy.This is not just a book, it is a movement for the self determination of citizens in the republic. It reminds citizens that they're more powerful than the government, than the leader in front. That Citizens' must put them-selves in a position where their hope does not depend on the goodness or badness of governments or leaders in power but rather on their own capacity to create for themselves conditions and opportunities necessary for their own survival and well-being. Gicaniro I argues that 'true revolution happens within the citizen, not around the citizen'. That for citizens to survive and thrive in the republic, they must rely above all else on their mental freedom. That any revolution which doesn't develop the mind of the people it intends to liberate, backfires eventually.If you wish to be FREE and HAPPY in the Republic, this is your book.
