In the New Testament, Jesus mentioned tribulations in His discourse that would reveal the true spiritual condition of those who claimed to be His followers. He warned them that because of increased wickedness in the world, their faith would be tried. From the time of the apostles until this present day, we can see trouble escalating in the world. The trials and temptations we face are evidenced through threats of war and terrorism, worldliness, persecution, government corruption, false religion, and hatred. Leaving a path of destruction that has devastated families, split churches, and corrupted state affairs. The struggle is real but God cares! "Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time: Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you" (1 Peter 5:6-7).
