The collection of poems written as a hobby in my diary came together as a book by sheer persuasion by my husband Pushp. The book ?? ?? ??? touches various aspects of life. Being in the presence of a Guru, the search for a soul-mate, the power of thoughts and virtues of truth, charity, appreciation and acceptance. All the poems are penned down from thoughts that have taken shape while reading religious texts or heard in the sermons of the Guru. Every poem has two aspects, one that deals with the outside world and the other that searches for a meaning within. An inclination towards the Guru, the inner light and a path that leads to the ultimate goal of life find a place in nearly all the poems in varied expressions. The collection of 18 poems in Hindi have a prose attached to each in English and Hindi to enable the reader a clearer understanding of the essence of the poem.
