Causality Hopscotch

When Claire Stevens went for a picnic lunch in the park, she really didn't consider getting superpowers as a possible outcome. That changed when she met Marco, an old man with the power to control time. After a quick game of cards, Marco died, passing his powers on to Claire. Marco also left Claire with a warning that if she didn't do something, Earth would be rendered uninhabitable in less than a month. Courtesy of her new time powers, Claire quickly realized that this wasn't anywhere near the deadline she feared it was. Still, if she wanted her friends and family to survive, not even she could put off dealing with the problem forever.
