The Mirage

This is a story of a young man Fred who returns to Nigeria after spending seven years in the United States with the intentions of enhancing his family's company and starting a political career. He finds out that his childhood sweetheart, Ifeoma, now a grown lady has been waiting for him expecting a marriage union. This story discloses the problem encountered by certain Modern day Nigerian families its origin: lack of trust and love, insensitivity and infidelity, the illusions that they live with. Two families and their own mirage, Ifeoma with the thoughts of a cheating husband and Mrs Ikenga with the thoughts of a perfect family.
